Super Easy Orange Cake (adapted from Allrecipes)


2 C. all purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

3 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 C. white sugar

1/2 C. milk

1/2 C. fresh squeezed orange juice

1/2 C. Canola oil

3 eggs (beaten)

1 1/2 tsp orange zest

Orange Glaze

2 Tbsp fresh squeezed orange juice

1 C. or more powdered sugar (sifted)



  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  • In a small bowl combine the milk, orange juice, oil, beaten eggs, and the orange zest. Set aside.
  • Sift the flour, salt, baking powder into a large bowl. Mix in the sugar. Add your wet ingredients and stir until completely combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  • Stir together the orange juice and the powdered sugar to the consistency that you like. My family likes it real thin and poured on each slice before serving.
