The last time I was at Tony and Judy's we were bent on a relaxing afternoon with our two kids and their two kids. All of our kids are about the same ages.

Afternoon turned into late afternoon late afternoon turned into dinner time, and dinnertime easily turned into evening time. The hours just melted together. There were no grandiose displays of entertainment, just people being friends and that is where the good times came from.

The ribs and salad were more than flavorful. I kept wanting to catch this flavor or that flavor over and over again. The texture of the ribs was perfect. Not too soft and not too much resistance. The salad had every color of the rainbow and more texture than expected. The flavors in the salad blossomed with each bite into more wonderful flavors.

I am not sure how he does it... but I know he has a recipe for it! Hope that one is coming soon! As for the atmosphere... That is always the chemistry of the people who meet to be around each other. It can't be duplicated or written down. It simply is. And if you are comfortable sharing yourself with others, then No Fear Entertaining is the right place to be for you. A Party at the Chiappini’s means I finally get to relax and enjoy an evening or afternoon out. My job dictates a majority of my social schedule and I spend many evenings at cocktail and dinner parties—they are all lovely—but when I get that special invitation to Judy and Tony’s home I mark the date in red on my calendar and begin to anticipate an evening of incredible food, good friends , and relaxed hospitality!

From the moment you walk through their doors, you feel as though everything has been made ready for you…the drinks are chilled; the appetizers are waiting and best of all the hostess is not frazzled—she is ready to spend time with her friends. It is so relaxing to spend time with her that you forget that she and Tony have pulled the whole party together. I've had the good fortune to have an extended stay at The Chiappini's.
They're not "fussy" people...just regular folks. One of my favorite things
about the stay was the superb food! Tony LOVES to cook and it shows. He
makes it look so easy, he's never flying around in a frenzy, yet everything
is done to perfection and timed just right. A year later I'm still craving
the dishes he served! It's a friendly, casual, comfortable environment with
exceptional food. I look forward to more visits in the future. Did I
mention the yummy food?

I've taken Tony's advice and entertained in my home despite my husband
saying things like, "We dont' have a big enough house for entertaining" and
"Where are 25 people going to sit?" Tony advised "It will all work out,
people are flexible" and he was right. My house has been crammed with
people, and while we were nervous about the space issue the first few times,
in the end, the fact that there was camaraderie & fellowship PLUS great food
(that I didn't kill myself preparing) was all that mattered. We really
enjoy it now!
